Central PA Comic Con / Exclusive Comic / After Party

The Comic Store of Lancaster, PA and The Comic Store West of York, PA are happy to announce they will be attending Central PA Comic Con March 4-6 to be held at the York Fair Grounds.

The Comic Store located at 28 McGovern St in Lancaster PA was first established in 1977 while The Comic Store West in York was established in 1986 (celebrating 30 years in York this year).  Both stores are among the oldest and most respected comic book and game stores in Pennsylvania.

The two stores related by owner Joe Miller along with Comic Store West’s owner Brian Waltersdorff have joined forces with local comic book artist and writer Jeff McComsey to create an EXCLUSIVE ZOMBIE COMIC BOOK (Fubar – War of the Roses) for the local comic conventions in 2016.  Central PA Comic Con will be the first chance for fans to purchase this EXCLUSIVE comic book.

To showcase the gaming aspect of their store The Comic Store West will be hosting Magic The Gathering card game events throughout the entire weekend at the convention.

Miller and Waltersdorff plan on highlighting aspects of the stores at their booths by bringing some of the most popular comics and collectibles available.  Star Wars, Deadpool, POP figures, Magic Cards, Cards Against Humanity and much, much more.

Make sure you stop into The Comic Store West on Saturday, March 5 after your trip to the convention.  The York store will be hosting a first time AFTER CON PARTY from noon until 9PM.   Huge discounts for patrons of the Central PA Comic Con (bring your ticket to save big).  Free snacks (while supplies last).  We will be streaming a LIVE comic convention event hosted by some of the top creators in comic books today.  There will also be live demos of LARP (Live Action Role Playing) and Cosplay weapon demos in the evening.
